(A little note from Joe (Prather not the slightly more popular one right now))
Good Morning America!
Today is an important day for everyone in the country. No matter who you choose to vote for, that is your right as an American. No matter who wins this election, we (all of us) will continue to do our best for our families, friends, neighbors, and fellow countrymen and women, and know we live in one of the best countries in the world. Change is needed in certain areas, this is true, however, at least in the United States of America, it is possible.
When your presidential candidate wins or loses remember you have brothers and sisters on the other side and 99% of whom are good human beings (no citation for this percentage....) who just like you, want the best for their family, friends, neighbors, and fellow countrymen and women.
Let's show our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren (if you are that lucky) that we can be a good loser or a good winner. Show them that no matter who wins, the world is not going to come to an end and we can (and should) continue to strive for a better country and world. We do so by advocating for change, peacefully representing and demonstrating your values and opinions, and respecting every human being. If you aren't acting in this way, why would you expect your children to do so in the future? Model the behavior you want to see in your children, because one day very soon, it will be their turn to vote, advocate, protest, and create change.
We (Americans) are all in this together.
